Synopsis
The story follows Zhou Mingrui, who finds himself reincarnated in a world resembling Victorian-era Europe. However, this is no ordinary world. He wakes up in the body of Klein Moretti, a young man who has just survived a mysterious ritual. As Klein, the protagonist soon discovers that the world is filled with “Beyonders”—individuals who possess supernatural powers by consuming specific potions.
In Lord of the Mysteries, the path to power is dangerous. One wrong move or a lack of mental control can lead to “losing control” and turning into a mindless monster. Klein must navigate a world of secret societies, ancient gods, and hidden conspiracies while trying to find a way back to his original world. Along the way, he creates the “Tarot Club,” a secret organization where he assumes the persona of “The Fool.”
